The Situation

A respected Tampa Bay custom concrete pool builder doing good work but under-marketed: an outdated website, static-only Meta ads, and brand-first videos that felt commercialized in a trust-driven industry.

What We Did

Rebuilt the brand and site, then ran a people-first, omnichannel system (Meta, Google, SEO/GEO, local) at high volume and high quality.

The Result

950 appointments and a 2.16% all-in cost of marketing over 12 months, revenue climbing from $10M toward $15M+, and a brand strong enough to become a top reason the company was acquired.

The Client

Already Excellent. Not Yet Known.

Pool Perfection has been building custom concrete pools across Tampa Bay and Orlando since 2004, more than 22 years in the ground. The company serves homeowners in Largo, Lutz, Clearwater, St. Pete, Pinellas, Wesley Chapel, Brandon, Riverview, and more than 40 other communities, backed by over 1,800 custom concrete pools built and 250+ five-star reviews.

The range runs from full pool design to plunge pools, spa additions, and now private lagoons. Pool Perfection sums up the promise in five words: 'Your dream. Our passion. Pool Perfection.' It is a reputation earned one backyard at a time, long before Aquathority ever got involved.

Pool Perfection competes in one of the most competitive pool markets in the country: more than 150 builders compete for the same Tampa Bay area homeowner.

The Challenge

A Great Builder, Hidden in Plain Sight

Pool Perfection wanted to grow, but its marketing had not kept pace with its craft. One in-house marketer was carrying the whole load, expectations were unclear, and results were not where the company needed them to be. The website felt dated, and the Meta ads running were static images, nothing built to stop a scroll.

The video that did exist leaned commercialized, brand-first content in an industry where the sale is won on trust long before a contract gets signed. None of that matched the quality of the pools going into the ground. In a market with more than 150 builders competing for the same Tampa Bay homeowner, Pool Perfection needed to become the obvious choice everywhere a homeowner looked, not just the best choice nobody found.

Every Channel, Same Direction

The old site did not match the quality of the pools it was supposed to sell. Aquathority rebuilt the website and the brand around real people and real craft, replacing a faceless identity with faces homeowners could trust. Every page was built to move a trust-driven, high-ticket decision forward, not just to look good.

Meta Ads
47% META LEAD-TO-APPOINTMENT RATE (INDUSTRY STANDARD ~25-30%)

Static images do not stop a scroll in a market this competitive. Aquathority replaced them with high-volume, people-first creative built to catch attention, then routed every response into custom landing pages built for this exact audience.

Every ad needs somewhere built to convert it. Aquathority built custom landing pages engineered to qualify hard, not just collect information, so only serious, high-intent homeowners moved forward. Each page was matched to its campaign and its audience, never repurposed from a generic template.

Meta creates demand. Google Ads captures the homeowners who are already searching for a pool builder in Tampa Bay and Orlando. Aquathority ran tightly optimized campaigns to catch that active-search demand, so Pool Perfection showed up the moment a homeowner started looking.

Being found in Google search is no longer enough on its own; a builder has to be found in AI-generated answers too. Aquathority ran an aggressive organic and local search push, including a fully managed Google Business Profile, so Pool Perfection now shows up in search, in local Maps results, and in AI answers across its entire service area.

Volume only helps if it is qualified. Aquathority engineered the entire funnel, from the first ad click to the final form field, to weed out tire-kickers before they ever reached the sales team. That is the mechanism behind the Meta lead-to-appointment rate above: fewer wasted conversations, more homeowners ready to sign.

The Results

Efficiency at Scale

Over the 12 months from June 2025 to June 2026, Pool Perfection spent just $2.16 in total marketing, ad spend and management combined, for every $100 of revenue it brought in.

The Work

The Work Behind the Numbers

Numbers only matter because the work backs them up. These are real Pool Perfection builds, the craftsmanship our campaigns put in front of the Tampa Bay market, and a client telling the story in his own words.

Conclusion

Full Authority Takeover

Aquathority did not run a campaign for Pool Perfection. It ran a holistic, omnichannel approach: social, ads, Google, SEO, local Google Maps, and every other surface a homeowner might check, all pushing in the same direction at high volume and high quality, backed by a deep understanding of the Tampa Bay market. When every channel points the same way at that scale, showing up everywhere stops being a goal and becomes inevitable.

Pool Perfection is exemplary of that full authority takeover, and the payoff went beyond revenue. The brand itself became a real, saleable asset, one strong enough to be cited as a top reason the company drew acquisition interest.

Acquired by Clair Lagon, with the Pool Perfection brand and marketing cited as a top reason for their interest (sold by previous owner Shai Egosi).

Seeded a new private lagoons product now expanding across the US.

Expanded market presence into Sarasota and West Orlando.
